Privacy and security
When you visit our web site, our server does not automatically retain any information regarding your domain, e-mail address or other identifying information. You can choose to tell us things, and if you do, we’ll use them only to do what you’ve asked. For example, if you want to be on our email list, we’ll need your name and email address. If you want to enter our contests, then we’ll need to know where to ship a prize. (Hey, you could get lucky!) Unless a judge orders us to, however, we never disclose information that identifies individual subscribers and readers to anyone.
Aggregate info
We do collect non-identifying and aggregate information, and we use it to improve the content of Vinobite.com and to share with sponsors. For example, we may tell sponsors what percentage of our visitors live in the urbz, or which of our pages gets visited most frequently by those on the Left Coast, but this never includes any information specific to or identifiable with any individual user.
Changes
From time to time, we may change the practices described on this page. If we do, we will do our best to contact you before we use your personally-identifiable data for any new purpose, and we won’t do it unless you say it’s okay. For obvious reasons, Vinobite.com is designed for people who are old enough to drink alcohol under the law where they live. You may have noticed in our Terms and Conditions that if you are not of legal drinking age you should not be using the site. As a result, we do not want, and never knowingly accept or retain any information from minors.

Upon request we provide site visitors with all information that we maintain about them, and if you ask we will do our best to correct any inaccuracies. We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. There are also appropriate physical security measures in place where our server is located to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you.
