The Broadbent Vinho Verde goes down easy on a hot summer day, and so do these brands:

Gazela Vinho Verde 2009 ($8): So light it's almost clear, you could totally get away with subbing this wine in your water glass with no one the wiser.

Casal Garcia Vinho Verde 2008 ($10): This V.V. has extra bubbles and is ever-so-slightly weighter on the palate, but still zingy and refreshing like a good Vinho Verde should be.
