I’m at the upper end of the so-called Millennial generation, old enough to have a decade of wine-drinking under my belt but young enough to know that wine is about three things: finding a great bottle at a good value, vicariously exploring the world, and having fun with friends.

When I travel, eat out, or plan meals at home, I think about which wine to drink. I hate watching TV actors playing foodies who hold their wineglasses by the bowl. I'm a wine geek, but am too cheap to be a snob.

In addition to Vinobite, I write for national magazines and websites like Wine Enthusiast and myrecipes.com, and I've passed the first level of sommelier certification and am studying for my certification.
