Adults only, please
The first and most important rule is, the Site is only for adults who are of legal age to drink under the laws where they live. There are a lot of good reasons for this, and they protect us as well as you. If you use the Site, you are telling us that you are of legal drinking age. If you’re a minor, thanks for waiting. Your time will come! 

Appropriate Use
The Site and anything you can do on it is provided for your information and entertainment. Please use it only for that purpose. Please don’t:

• Try to hack the site, or access anything you are not supposed to, like other user data, for example
• Upload or post anything you wouldn’t want your mother to see
• Upload or post anything you don’t have the right to use
• Provide us with any false information if you choose to register

If you do any of those things, or if you do anything else that we think interferes with the ability of other people to enjoy the Site, we have the right to bar you from the Site. 

Your Stuff
You are responsible for anything you post or upload on the Site. Please make it truthful, and please be nice. We don’t pre-screen postings, but if we notice anything that we think is not appropriate, we have the right to take it down. You retain all of your ownership rights in anything you post, but by posting you agree that we can use and display it for as long as we want to, and can edit it as we see fit.

Our Stuff
Everything we’ve created that appears on the Site is licensed under a Creative Commons License. That means you are free to copy it, display it, and send it to others, as long as you tell them it came from us and include a link back to us, and as long as you don’t change it. You also need to tell others about these restrictions. The best way to do that is to link to the license.

Trademarks
VINOBITE is a trademark and/or registered trademarks of Gretchen Roberts. You may not make commercial use of this trademark without written permission from us. All other trademarks that appear on this website are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to refer to those companies’ goods and services.

Access Charges
If you receive Vinobite through your mobile phone or wireless Internet provider, any access charges are your responsibility, not ours.

Accuracy
While we make every effort to include correct and up to date information on the Site, we don’t guarantee its accuracy, and we assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Site.   

Safe Browsing
Your use of and browsing on the Site are at your risk. While we take reasonable steps to attempt to guard against viruses, some risk of virus transmission is unavoidable in any use of the internet. You should obtain and use your own virus protection software and keep it up to date.

Links to Third Party Sites
We have provided links to third party sites as a convenience to you. We have no control over and are not responsible for the content of any linked site, which may have changed since the link was posted. Your choice to connect to any other site through a link posted on our Site is entirely at your own risk.

Surveys and contests
We offer the Freebie Friday promotion on the Site each week. There is no purchase or payment necessary to enter. Just submit a comment on the Freebie Friday page before midnight on the following Thursday to enter. You must be age 21 or over and have a U.S. mailing address. Limit one entry per person. 

We will randomly select one winner per week and will contact the winner via e-mail to request a mailing address on or before the end of the day on the Tuesday following the close of entries. If the winner does not respond by midnight on the seventh day following notification, that winner will be disqualified and a new winner will be randomly selected from among remaining eligible entries. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for that week. The nature of the prizes and their approximate retail value vary from week to week. Prizes are typically donated to us by various individuals and entities and often consist of household items, jewelry, publications and the like. Details about the prize are provided in each Freebie Friday offer.

Prizes will be shipped to the winner within four to six weeks of providing the mailing address. All prizes are provided “as is.” No cash in lieu of prize or substitution of prize. Any taxes associated with a prize are the responsibility of the winner. We are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or mutilated mail. The winner’s name and hometown will be posted on the Site following confirmation. By entering, you agree to this use.

We assume no responsibility for network, hardware, software, telephone, cable or other technical failures; or for incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible, garbled or lost comments or e-mail communications. By participating, you agree that Gretchen Roberts, the Site, their affiliates, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, will have no liability whatsoever for any liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or participation in this giveaway. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to void suspect entries, or to modify, cancel, or suspend the promotion should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, or fairness of the giveaway. In any such event, we reserve the right to select a winner for that week from among all eligible entries submitted prior to the occurrence of the problem, if possible, or to cancel the giveaway for that week, in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel the Freebie Friday giveaways at any time in our sole discretion.
